Distance Healing for Beginners
The following procedure is an excellent way to send Reiki to anyone in need. Even if you have not received the Reiki attunements for the Second Degree you can have beneficial results by applying the following.
Enkaku Chiryo-ho - The Method of distance healing
A technique for sending Reiki at a distance.
Enkaku means: distant, remote, Chiryo means: medical treatment and Ho means: treatment, method or way.
This is an original technique from Dr. Usui which can be applied to oneself or another.
The Technique:
1. Where possible, obtain a photo of the person you wish to
direct distance healing. Write their name, age location and condition
(if known) on the back. If you cannot get a photo of the person
concerned or if you are sending distant healing to a situation or
location, issue etc, it is sufficient to write these details on a
piece of paper. If the healing is to be directed to someone you know,
it is sufficient to imagine the person between your hands.
2. Sitting comfortably, place your hands in Gassho (prayer position), calming the mind and say silently: I will begin Enkaku Chiryo-ho now.
3. Reach your hands above your head and connect to the fullness of the Reiki energy.
4. Hold the photo or object in your hands or place this on your
knee. Hold your hands in front of you as if you have then around the
person or the issue concerned. Say the persons name (or situation)
three times. Make the strong wish that the Reiki Energy will heal them
in body, speech and mind. State: I am now calling (x 3 persons
name), are you there?
5. Cupping your hands together, imagine the person's energy field is present.
6. Now transfer your cupped hands to your chosen proxy (ie: teddy bear, your body etc)
7. Next imagine the Reiki energy healing them in the effected area concerned or the positive outcome manifested.
8. Apply healing energy in this way for 10 to 15 minutes or for as long you feel necessary.
9. Once you have completed, take your hands from your proxy and cup your hands before you once again.
10. Now blow over your hands three times to bless and then dismiss their energy form.
11. Gassho and give thanks.
